Join us in Jamaica, Queens

Make your reservation for a FREE Art Walk in Jamaica, Queens. Starting this October there will be 2 free walks every Saturday highlighting the artistic and cultural attractions located in Jamaica.

The Art Walks are free tours (reservations required, but no cost) that will guide guests through a handful of artistic and cultural hubs in walking distance of Downtown Jamaica. Many of the galleries and cultural centers showcase artwork by established and emerging local artists. Stroll the streets that blend old with new, as you witness the history of 19th century British facades, jazz over to a 1930's nightclub, and hobnob with artists in the new art studios recently transformed out of vacant properties.

Jamaica occupies the southeastern region of Queens, bordered by other notable neighborhoods Saint Albans, Kew Gardens, and Briarwood. Downtown Jamaica is an exciting and deeply historical part of the borough, and continues to build more retail shops, entertainment venues, dining options, and cultural attractions. Easily accessible by subway lines E, J, Z, and F, and only one stop from both the AirTrain to JFK Airport and the Long Island Railroad.

The walks are family-friendly and are wonderful for residents of Queens who want to learn more about their hometown, as well as tourists who are willing to go off the beaten path and discover a part of real New York!

Reservations are required.
